this is a picture of my mom and dad - but they were separated when i was ~4 - and because i recognize this (duplex) house i lived in with my dad and lynn (his girlfriend at that time) in denver. 1544 jackson street betwwen colfax and city park. i remember my mom coming through denver en route from portland to somewhere else and she visited me. i think this is from that time (i think i was there between 1st and 2nd grade for most of or some of the summer; i went to summer camp in capitol hill near where wax trax records would later be on e. 13th...) and that is why i am placing this here. the only other time it could be would be 9 months earlier when i was taken from texas to portland after my experience almost being adopted by the whitneys (more about that when i fill in more details on this page later...) - but i don't know where my dad and lynn lived then - maybe here but maybe not - i would live in this house again at age 8 - but due to other things i am very certain of - my mom did not come to denver that time. i don't know where i was when this picture was taken of my mom and dad. maybe i took it? it is possible. i would like that to be true. it would make this picture make more sense too - can i get a picture of both of you? but i think it turned out too good for my height then - though i would have my own camera at about age 10 and i did go on to take pretty good pictures - but i digress...

~ january 2009, i rented an apartment in oregon city, living about 10 blocks from the oregon city municipal elevator ( pictured below) where i worked part-time as a guide and operated the elevator.
somewhere i think i have at least one picture of the old historic building i lived in - but here are pictures of adara, visiting me and my toys, at my oregon city apartment.
because it has been since spring 2009 that i had to give up my housing and put almost all my things into storage - these pictures of my "collections" (mostly books, music, posters, t-shirts and toys) make my heart super-happy. i love visiting my storage - but most of the stuff is packed up in boxes - still - i have done my best to make it like a clubhouse - i just can only barely enter into it... someday i will hopefully be settling into a semi-permanent situation - only then am i ever moving all my stuff again: it has grown on me - just keeping up with storage and seeing where the wind takes me while all these things i have collected on my journey wait for me to find a place that is meant for me to stay at... someday when i can actually afford housing... yay for my picture collections!

yay that i have successfully uploaded this much! i have worked hard on this new and improved page; i am glad i just started over on a new page - it was the way to go - after i re-link all the pictures that i need to - i will likely bothe redirect and/or remove the links (over time) to my former picture timeline page - but i don't plan to delete the pageleast not any time soon... yay i did what i envisioned and i like this page: an evolution of me - :o)
